Intellect Design Arena launches MSOCK to bring enterprise context to AI engineering

New AI-native engineering system aims to help enterprises map business, technology and compliance dependencies before making software changes

Intellect Design Arena has announced the launch of MSOCK — Multidimensional Multilayer System of Connected Knowledge, an AI-native engineering system designed to address a key challenge in enterprise AI adoption: while artificial intelligence can generate and modify code, it does not inherently understand the complex business context and dependencies within an enterprise.

Intellect said it has filed 39 patents related to MSOCK technology and will unveil the platform globally on September 9, 2026, at Global FinTech Fest 2026.

MSOCK is designed as an enterprise knowledge infrastructure that connects and makes computable institutional knowledge across business processes, operations, compliance and technology. The objective is to enable AI systems to understand relationships and dependencies within an organisation before recommending or executing changes.

According to Intellect, the technology represents a shift from conventional coding-led software engineering towards what it describes as “cognitive engineering.” Under this approach, enterprise transformation begins with understanding business intent, institutional knowledge, architectural dependencies and the potential impact of a proposed change, rather than simply generating code.

Mapping the impact of enterprise changes

One of the key capabilities demonstrated by MSOCK is its ability to map complex applications and their interconnected knowledge.

As part of the launch, Intellect is issuing an open challenge to financial institutions. Participating organisations can submit a complex application module, which MSOCK will analyse and map within three weeks.

The resulting knowledge map is intended to allow institutions to examine the potential consequences of changes to their applications, including the dependencies that could be affected.

The central question the platform seeks to address is: “If I change this, what exactly will break?”

Intellect said the exercise is intended to demonstrate MSOCK’s ability to identify dependencies and determine the potential blast radius of a proposed change before any code is modified.

Addressing enterprise AI adoption

Enterprise adoption of generative AI has increasingly moved beyond code generation towards questions around governance, context, security and the ability to safely modify complex legacy systems.

MSOCK is positioned by Intellect as an infrastructure layer designed to provide AI with a deeper understanding of an organisation’s existing technology and institutional knowledge. By connecting information across different layers of an enterprise, the company says the system can help AI reason about the implications of changes rather than treating software code in isolation.

The launch marks Intellect’s latest push to position AI not merely as a coding assistant, but as part of a broader engineering system capable of understanding and navigating complex enterprise environments.

The company said the technology is being introduced to the global market for the first time at Global FinTech Fest 2026.
