New Delhi, October 7, 2025:
The primary market is witnessing strong investor enthusiasm this week with two major IPOs — Tata Capital and LG Electronics India — collectively seeking to raise more than ₹27,000 crore. Both offerings have drawn attention owing to the scale of their fundraise and the reputation of their parent companies.
Offer Size and Objectives
Tata Capital IPO
Tata Capital’s issue, the largest of 2025, comes with a price band of ₹310–₹326 per share and aims to mobilize ₹15,511.87 crore.
- Fresh issue: ₹6,846 crore
- Offer for sale (OFS): ₹8,665.87 crore by promoter Tata Sons and investor International Finance Corporation (IFC)
The fresh proceeds will strengthen Tata Capital’s Tier 1 capital base, supporting its future lending and business expansion plans.
LG Electronics India IPO
LG’s Indian arm is launching the third-largest IPO of 2025, following Tata Capital and HDB Financial Services’ ₹12,500 crore issue in June.
The ₹11,607.01 crore IPO is a pure offer for sale (OFS) by parent LG Electronics Inc., with a price range of ₹1,080–₹1,140 per share.
As it doesn’t include a fresh issue, the company will not receive any capital proceeds from the listing.
