Mumbai, December 23, 2025: Equirus Capital, a leading full-service financial services group, has announced the appointment of Ramesh NGS as an Independent Director on its Board, strengthening the firm’s leadership, governance and strategic capabilities.
Ramesh NGS is the former Managing Director & CEO of Stock Holding Corporation of India and brings with him over three decades of experience in commercial banking, along with nearly nine years in the securities markets and financial services sector. Based in Mumbai, he has previously served as a Non-Executive Board Member on subsidiary companies of IFCI and as an Advisory Member of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
He has deep domain expertise in strategic leadership, corporate governance and regulatory compliance, retail banking, broking and financial services, corporate social responsibility implementation, and stakeholder management. Ramesh NGS holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Investment & Financial Management and a Bachelor of Science degree. He is a Certified CEO, Certified Independent Director, a Member of AICD Australia, and a Member of the Institute of Directors (IOD), India.
