New Delhi | November 2025:
Farmers registered under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana who have completed their e-KYC and registration are likely to receive the 21st instalment of funds from the central government in the first week of November 2025, following the scheme’s usual disbursement cycle.
Last year, the 18th instalment was released on October 5, 2024, but the government has not yet officially announced the release date for the current round.
💰 Special Disbursement for Flood-Hit States
According to an AngelOne report, the government has already made special disbursements under the 21st instalment to assist farmers affected by floods and landslides in September 2025.
Farmers in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand have reportedly received the funds, while those in Jammu and Kashmir got the instalment on October 7.
The 19th instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme was credited on February 24, 2025, indicating that instalments are typically released every 4–6 months. Based on this trend, beneficiaries can expect the next tranche by the end of January 2026 at the latest.
🌾 About PM-KISAN Scheme
The PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a flagship welfare programme that aims to reduce the financial burden on farmers.
Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive direct financial support of ₹2,000 per instalment, credited to their bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
To ensure timely payments, farmers must have their Aadhaar numbers linked to their bank accounts.
📲 How to Check PM-Kisan 21st Instalment Status
Farmers waiting for the next payment can check the latest updates and their payment status on the official website — pmkisan.gov.in.
They can verify details by selecting their State, District, Sub-district, Block, and Village to see if their name appears in the PM-Kisan beneficiary list.
⚠️ Who Is Excluded from PM-KISAN Benefits?
The official portal notes that certain farmers have been flagged for verification under exclusion criteria:
- Land ownership acquired after 1 February 2019.
- More than one family member enrolled (such as both husband and wife, or an adult and a minor).
The government clarified, “Benefits for such cases have been temporarily withheld until physical verification is completed.”
Farmers can use the ‘Know Your Status (KYS)’ feature on the PM-KISAN website or Kisan e-Mitra chatbot to check their eligibility and resolve pending issues.
