The spirit of polo and international camaraderie came alive today as KogniVera IT Solutions, in collaboration with the Indian Polo Association (IPA), unveiled the KogniVera International Polo Cup at the Army Equestrian Centre, Delhi Cantonment. The ceremony witnessed the grand trophy reveal, official team introductions, and the promise of a thrilling contest between Team India and Team Argentina, two of the world’s leading polo nations.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the KogniVera International Polo Cup trophy, a symbol of excellence, sportsmanship, and the shared passion between India and Argentina — countries united by their deep-rooted polo traditions. The gathering was graced by prominent dignitaries, players, and members of the media, setting the tone for one of the most anticipated fixtures on the global polo calendar.
Representing Team India are renowned players Simran Shergill, Shamsheer Ali, Sawai Padmanabh Singh, and Siddhant Sharma, while Team Argentina features top professionals Juan Augustin Garcia Grossi, Salvador Jauretche, Matias Bautista Espasandin, and Nicolas Jorge Corti Maderna. The two teams are set to deliver a high-octane display of precision, power, and horsemanship in the upcoming clash.
A special panel discussion also took place featuring Mr. Kamlesh Sharma, Managing Director & CEO of KogniVera IT Solutions, and Lt. General Rajinder Dewan, QMG, Indian Army, along with players from both sides.
