Mumbai, January 13, 2026: Standard Chartered Bank on Tuesday announced the launch of its refreshed Priority Banking proposition in India, reinforcing its strategic focus on the wealth and affluent customer segment.
The revamped Priority Banking offering is anchored on four key pillars — wealth expertise, international banking, sales and service excellence, and exclusive lifestyle benefits. Together, these pillars aim to deliver a differentiated and integrated banking experience, aligned with the evolving and increasingly global financial needs of affluent clients.
With this refresh, the Bank is shifting from a product-centric approach to deeper, multi-product client relationships, enabling more holistic financial engagement and long-term wealth support.
At the core of the refreshed proposition lies Standard Chartered’s wealth management expertise, offering clients a comprehensive suite of solutions to grow, manage and protect their wealth. These services are delivered through the Bank and its securities arm, Standard Chartered Securities India. Clients are supported by dedicated INSEAD-trained Wealth Specialists and Relationship Managers, ensuring a consistently high standard of advisory and service. The Bank has also strengthened its physical presence through dedicated Priority Banking Centres within select branches to provide personalised client experiences.
The proposition further leverages Standard Chartered Group’s strong international network, allowing clients to manage their finances seamlessly across borders. This is supported by advanced digital capabilities and cross-border banking solutions designed to complement the global lifestyles of Priority clients.
Enhancing the offering is ‘Priority Exclusives’, which provides curated lifestyle, travel and wellness privileges. This includes the Beyond Credit Card — an invite-only metal card designed for Priority clients, reflecting the aspirations of the Global Indian customer.
In addition, clients gain access to a curated network of industry experts for specialised support beyond traditional banking. These services include global education assistance, international relocation and citizenship advisory, and other bespoke offerings, accessible through SC Privileges — the Bank’s integrated digital platform.
Commenting on the launch, Aditya Mandloi, Head – Wealth and Retail Banking, India & South Asia, Standard Chartered, said India continues to be a key growth market for the Bank’s Wealth and Retail Banking business. He added that the enhanced Priority proposition and the introduction of the Beyond Credit Card underline the Bank’s commitment to deepening its presence in the wealth and affluent segment.
He further stated that Standard Chartered’s global network, wealth expertise and client-centric approach uniquely position it as a leading international wealth player, with a continued focus on delivering consistent, world-class and personalised banking experiences.
